IIRC, the pickup was pulling a big 5th wheel flatbed trailer - don’t know yet if this played a role

I think he fishtailed & the trailer took them all out. a perfect storm of sorts. incredibly horrific & sad

I saw this yesterday.

A lot of it reminds me of the Kalamazoo bicycle crash.

One thing that the government likely should look at is the slow increase in pickup capacities.

The old half-ton is the new one-ton.



Everything looks like that could well have been a commercial configuration. Yet, was it licensed as commercial?

Empty trailers have their own issues, but should be easier to stop and control than a full trailer.

When I first read the story and it said the drive wasn't immediately charged, I was really bothered. Now that I'm hearing this, it seems like the publicity is the perfect opportunity to 'set an example.'
