Out of stock products- specifically Ritchey
I love Ritchey Pave tape. The texture, cushion, and durability have been great.
Black is out of stock- everywhere.
How? How do companies manage their inventory so they find they are out of stock on basic inexpensive items for months at a time?
I understand Ritchey doesnt make the tape a d they rely on contract manufacturing. And I understand there is lead time involved in contract manufacturing. I also understand companies not wanting/being able to stock a large amount of big ticket items as that limits their available cash at any given moment.
Having black handlebar tape in stock should be the floor when it comes to expectations and execution. It's about the most common and basic product that accessory companies can sell.
Luckily I read that it's the same as Cannondale Synapse 3.5mm tape, only without the 'Ritchey' embossed on the tape. Good by me, especially since the Cdale branded tape is cheaper.
Im surprised when I see money making staples unavailable since those are just so easy to sell as addons.
Rant over.
Anyone come upon something they want that's out of stock everywhere?
