Local shop has Marin and they look like a nice bike but I was wondering about any real time experience on them.
Thanks in advance, Frank.

Depending on the Model.....the modern flat bar Marin's look very nice and seem to be spec'd well for the $$$.
I've owned a Marin Muirwoods (1995 model) since new and it's been one of the favourite Go To bikes and has been problem free.
I just gave the bike to my Son (this wknd) and he noticed the quality ride and build for a 24yr old bike...Marin makes good bikes.

I purchased a Marin San Rafael DS2 a couple months ago and love it. I researched, compared, and test rode Marin along with a few other makes, most notably Trek, and the Marin fared well. I was very comfortable buying Marin, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Marin makes nice bikes. Here's my Lucas Valley that I enjoyed for about 8 years. Zero issues. I sold it for a good price, but now wish I had kept it.
