Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shoulda left it in there. Rotating weight makes you (and your tyres) stronger!

Woah, Gilmour, Crosby & Nash doing Shine on, you crazy diamond is pretty sweet. The saxman doing Baritone to Alto swaps is rad.

I know this isn't a buy/sell/trade thread- I'll keep this short and it's just because this one specific item showed up. I have a set of the black Veloce brakes (still in the box) that I've never used...and most likely never will as they've just been hanging out in my parts stash for a couple of years. Pics can be taken in the morning. Yours for $40 including shipping if you want them.

Thank you very much for the offer Jadesfire, but I think I'm gonna follow Addiction's 2-to-1 vote to just get some skeletons.

Actually, I remember why it's like that. When I built the bike up, I didn't have any black Campy brake housing which is smaller than most and uses smaller diameter ferrules. So, I just trimmed some 5 mm brake housing back until I could get the right size housing and ferrules.

When I saw the pic, I couldn't figure out what was going on but the internal metal housing is fully inserted and working fine, just the outer plastic sheath looks like crap. Rear is the same way. Housing isn't compressing and works fine.
