Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sometimes if it wasn’t a catastrophic event they won’t cover it- like a slow leak vs overflow for example.

Sounds like the Bam discount. The article said they have a massive stock pile of bikes and discounts will continue.

Can't wait to take it out for a real ride tomorrow morning. I have a customer call at 8 am (stupid European time) so I'll likely head out at 6:45 for an hour before I take the call ITG.
Modern suspensions are so much more tuneable than years ago. If your shock has an air can you can add or remove tokens to change the feel. If it doesn't it still has adjustable compression and rebound and pressure. Don't forget tire pressure.

When I got the KHS I took it to a bumpy, hilly area and took the shock pump and tire pump and just tried things. The bike works so much better than bikes I had before but if I wanted to upgrade the suspension I think it could be even better.

I started fooling around with motorcycle suspensions back around 1980. Sometimes small changes make a big difference.

Da Brim looks like it would go well with Back-Up Barz(tm).

Pass.

It's ideal for cycle tourists. I've hosted a few who've used it. If you're racing, or riding briskly in a group it's probably not for you.

I frequently see a guy who always rides with aero bars, has his left hand on one, the right elbow resting on the right pad with his chin in his right palm who, always wears his DaBrim.

Got a couple hours on the mtb this morning then 2 hours of cutting weeds. Didn't look at the road bike, though. Friend says he has a bearing puller that might work and he sent me a pic. I have my doubts. I know an LBS that has the Campagnolo tools if it comes to that.

Now it's raining so the weeds are growing again.

This was a grocery store with a dollar store before it was used for vaping product distribution.
all those black things in the hire ground are butane tanks and nitrous oxide tanks. They're everywhere

This is from the side in between 2 industrial buildings. Again note all the small tanks and pieces of tanks, in the foreground. From what Ive heard, they were not licensed to store these volatile chemicals. If you zoom in you can see the smoke from the smoldering debris. The parking lot out front is covered in these tanks and pieces of tanks.
