Georgia now has 3 foot passing law, passed under HB101.

I feel so much safer.

Unfortunately there's already been at least one cyclist killed over the weekend. https://www.ajc.com/news/north-fulton/cops-douglasville-woman-struck-998502.html.

We got the same law in South Carolina and it's only enforced after an accident happens.

BTW - I like how Georgia marks their bike routes, but then loathe how they put rumble strips in the shoulders of the marked bike routes.

We got onein Charleston get killed riding on the shoulder on a bridge yesterday. Van swerved over, hit the cyclist, and knocked him completely off the bridge. The van at least didn't drive off after the collision. https://www.abcnews4.com/story/150365...s-death-drives

Only 'taking the lane' will make a difference.
