I bet the buyers market will be farther out than just the "end" of the coronavirus plague. The higher quality bikes will be held onto for longer because of wishful thinking by the owners they'll still use them. I'm willing to wait though. I bet a recent Shiv TT will show up on my local eBay or craigslist market in about 18 months at "wife wants it out!" pricing.

Box store bikes
I've assembling bikes for box stores for 16 years and I haven't seen anything like this bike craze. I'll go to a store, assemble 30 bikes, and half of them are already sold by the time I leave,

Target also. They still had a few bikes a couple weeks ago, but I wasn't really paying attention. Walked down the isle today and they were all sold.
