Single speed Cannondale value?

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Single speed Cannondale value?

I have never had a single speed before and found one on Facebook marketplace that caught my eye. Trying to decide if the $250 asking price is worth it or overvalued and what should I be aiming for in terms of price. Specs via seller: Orange 700C V Rims
Specialized Riva Road Saddle
late 1980's Cannondale frame (52cm)
Crank Brothers Candy Pedals
BCCN - BN-X008 Aero Bars
I am unable to post links for pictures but it can be found on Facebook marketplace Detroit

250 for a 30+ year old bike is not a good value. Sounds like there is nothing special about the components.

Is it even a dedicated SS?

Overcome with a need to see what the bike looks like, I searched through the Detroit FB Marketplace and couldn't find it. <womp womp>

I'd ask on r3ddit fixed gear bicycle thread. I'm no expert on frames, but those guys go ape **** over single speed/ fixed gear Cannondales.

90's Cannondale tracks are the holy grail for a lot of fixed gear riders, but I wholly doubt that's what this bike is.
