Hector Picard is a South Florida cyclist, triathlete, and 3X IRONMAN. Each summer he does a charity ride to raise funds for a physically challenged child. Last year he rode from Miami to NYC. This summer it was Miami to Portland, OR. to raise money for Jameson, a 2 y/o boy born without arms.

Amazing! I wonder, how does he disconnect and reconnect the brakes? I've always had a hell of a time getting mine reconnected with my big ham fists.

Root, my guess is that you don't have a road bike. Road bike have a quick release lever as opposed to the system used on MTB and most cyclocross bikes. A quick flip of the lever opens and closes the brakes enough to get the wheel out.

This is amazing.

Also, just a note for those of us who are not racing - tires which are designed for touring and commuting don't get flats nearly as often as fancy lightweight tires. My commute bike has Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires on it, and I have 12,800 miles on a tire over which period I have had one flat.
