Losing Text Of Post In Progress
-----
have been attempting to write a complex post in response to another member's question.
my post involves photos and links, some from earlier posts.
when i get part way done i get a pop-up window telling me my "submission cannot be made" because i have "logged in again". if i try to go back to my message in progress my content is lost.
in our old software there was a button to get around this problem which was marked something like "restore previous content." this no longer seems to exist with the new software.
does anyone have any suggestions for this problem?

Use a word processor to compose your complex messages, then copy and paste them into the message window when you are finished. Remember that the text input here is not rich text like you are used to in Microsoft Word or the like...so any font enhancements will need to be made in the message window with the formatting tools here.

Alternately you can periodically select your entire message and copy to the clipboard so if there's a crash you can just paste it in.
