Why do my pictures post upside down?

I'm flipping them saving them flipped. I'm no expert.

Your camera may be an Australian model where of course everything is upside down.

Seriously though someone here will give you an easy fix.

Maybe ask the mods to move this to the user assistance forum.

What are you flipping them with? Photo viewers might just remember the position you last looked at it. And that wouldn't be passed on to another. Photo editors should save it as you see it on your screen.

Using and iphone? Well, I used to get photo's upside down from one of my friends that uses an iphone in text or emails, maybe both. Might be a setting in the phone somewhere as lately they've been right side up.

Sorry for the off-topic but this was a good one

ps. If you upload on those image hosting websites , try wait some time before update the page. Maybe you are doing right but the server need some time , or maybe because there is something realated to the ping.

It's all based on the EXIF data your phone camera is putting in the photo. If you find that your pics are misaligned when you post them, you can try using a photo app to strip out the metadata first, or to reorient them before uploading.
