I have run both the non-speed version of the Corsa G+ and the Rubino G+ Speed.

Keep in mind that the "Speed" version of both the Corsa G+ and Rubino G+ are lighter, faster, have less flat protection and wear out faster than the non-speed version.

The Rubino G+ Speed are 20% lighter than the non-speed version of the Corsa G+ and are noticeably faster because of it. 206 grams vs 265 grams respectively for the 25 mm variant.

In terms of ride quality, grip and overall feel, I believe the Rubino G+ Speed to be superior to the non-speed version of the Corsa G+.

In terms of durability, the non-speed version of the Corsa G+ lasted longer but got more flats. That's my experience. The Corsa picked up every glass shard and was flat every 250 miles or so. I had to pull glass out of the tire with tweezers and a magnifying glass.

This is the non-speed version of the Corsa G+ 700Cx25

This is the Rubino G+ Speed 700Cx25

Thanks Tim for the added info. They sound great, I’m gonna have to think on them though. Sounds like I might get way too frustrated with flats. Especially in my area where there’s tons of glass, cacti, and who knows what else every inch of the road. I’ll give them a shot if they’re still priced to sell next paycheck. They might be my weekend go to’s

I don't use the cross the chest strap because I broke the buckle shortly after buying it and never got around to fixing it. I'm sure that would help. Regardless I love their bags. If I ever decide to go clipless I'm definitely gonna give their shoes a try.

Diggin your avatar btw... I'm a die hard black flag / rollins fan boy.
I actually have been wanting to try their shoes for awhile. I don't ride clipless all the time though just off and on, so I want to get around to getting a pair maybe over the summer. The Citizen bags great, I can only compare it to my R.E. Load but it's definitely more comfortable when it comes to the strap. Hows the bag you grabbed? And also same here haha.

Out of all my bags (5-6 of them) my chrome bags are by far my favorite. They just can’t be beat. The material and manufacturing is flawless and ridiculously durable. Their slings and straps stay cushioned and comfy... plus that awsome seatbelt ‘click’ is such a cool factor. I REALLY love my new Hondo... every time I put it on and ride I’m happy. I’ve already done about a half dozen grocery runs with it and even with a lot of weight in it, it’s super comfortable. Being able to displace the weight on both shoulders vs just one and across the chest makes hauling bulk much more enjoyable for me. The size is perfect too. Somewhere between a large jansport and my hunting pack. The cushioned back is amazing too. On my rigid frame Harley chopper I would get points of irritation with other bags... not with this. Plus weatherproof and camo... it’s killer

Nitto 626 seatposts are on sale at Alex's for $56USD...

This might not seem like a big deal, though 27.0mm posts are stupidly hard to find outside of NJS, and the silver post is gorgeous (I have one installed on my NJS bike).

Speaking of clothing/kit - Primal Wear is running a sale on some interesting overstock, discontinued, and clearance items, plus there's a coupon for an additional 20% off - FINAL4

https://www.primalwear.com/collectio...d=0db8d15ae9uy

And...if you don't mind, or else buy enough stuff to to justify the bit higher shipping charges from Great Britain:

Planet X/One One, which I think generally has some pretty good prices and is always promoting lots of stuff scattered around their site, is offering 30% off on all their rubber, much of which is pretty darn nice & not too common. However, beware - it hasn't bothered me but some of their tires and tubes may be loose, not in packages or boxes. Even unpackaged - among others, their regular prices on Panaracer/Rivendell/Jack Brown stuff are hard to beat...but with an extra 30% off?

Aero seatpost is a dealbreaker for me, but it looks like a pretty decent entry level bike.

Not single speed and I'm not sure if it is a great deal but putting this out there because I know some of you guys dig this kind of stuff and tall bikes are relatively scarce.

Yup, 3rensho has clout.
Kind of sacrilege they put their shop sticker on the downtube on such a collectible classic.... I hope the buyer's first modification is to take it off.

Yeah it is a poor choice on them I made sure to remove mine when I bought the Phil Wood frame from them. They also got the seatpost size wrong so I bought a seatpost in the correct size and had to sand it down. I still love the frame and glad I got it but just wish they had measured correctly so I could have taken my component choice in a different direction maybe.
