iPhone 6 Or Samsung Galaxy Phones and Jersey Pockets
What's the verdict on fitting the larger screen phones in jersey pockets? I currently have an iPhone 4S and I have a few jerseys where the elastic top of the pocket is right above the 4S, meaning that even a 5S would poke out the top. Do the larger phones seem to fit in most jerseys? Specifically does anyone already have the 6 that they stash in the jersey yet?
Thanks!
Thanks!

My iphone 5s fits fine even with a lifeproof case; I generally am wearing cheaper jerseys though. Pearl Izumi and Voler, some trek house brands ect.

I have LG G3, also huge 5.5 inch screen, and is fine. Even fits in the waterproof pocket on my Capo jerseys.

A Sticky Pod will fit the standard iPhone 6 (it fit my Galaxy S3.) No problem fitting it in any of my jersey pockets. I got an iPhone 6 Plus and I'm trying to find something to carry it in. The large Sticky Pod is way too big.

Go to your wireless provider's website or the phone manufacture's website and you'll find the phone's dimensions there. Given that, you can compare their dimensions to your current phone's dimensions and with a ruler could could even compare that to the depth of your jersey pockets. FWIW, I have a Galaxy S5 (14.2 cm long) and all my jerseys' pockets are deeper than the length of the phone by a good margin.
If carrying it my jersey pocket, I put the phone in a plastic bag to protect it from sweat, even though it's water resistant.

I have the Galaxy S4 Active (waterproof) with an Otterbox case. I carry it in my back pocket, no problem.

A friend bikes with his Lumia 1520 in his pocket and has no problems with it. I keep my 4s in a ziploc with my wallet.

^^ this. Wallet, phone, housekey, and a couple of bandaids in a ziploc will all fit comfortably in a jersey pocket with room to spare. Never had a ziploc leak either, even in pouring rain. If it doesn't fit in your jersey pocket, perhaps you should look at brands with bigger pockets. Most major brands should be able to accommodate the above with ease.

I use an iPhone 5s and it annoys me when riding...it sticks out of my jersey pocket just enough to tell me to go a different direction than I wanted to go...how do I stop my iPhone from telling me where to go???

I also have a Note 2 which is huge but I just zippy tied a cheap phone case to my stem and the phone rides there. It also fits easily in my jersey pocket in a ziplock bag if I encounter rain.

Had iPhone5 previously and just switched to iPhone6. Fits in the middle jersey pocket just fine. In some ways even better, because it doesn't seem to flop around as much as the smaller phone did.

Thanks! I ordered my phone last night and should be here next week. I was tempted to take my jersey to the AT&T store to try it out, kinda like when I go buy a new car, I take my bike to see if it will fit in the backseat (because I will not leave my bike on the rack unattended)
