Wow, this page went from the desert of Judea to Norway.

Well, it's not Norway but the snows the same.
This was a 30 km ride that spanned gravel, icy hard snow on gravel and crusty sugar snow that felt like loose sand. I was in my granny gear on the horizontal for some of it and could feel the suspension fork bobbing up and down like an icebreaker. Good thing I had Foreigner and Boston on the IPOD!
The 26er is definitely not fast but so far delivers in all sorts of terrain.

It is. I call it Overland bike.
Those feed bags are Jannd.
https://www.jandd.com/detail.asp?PRO...OTTLE-GRUB-BAG
They where kind of expensive, $40 each when I bought them, but Jannd was having a 2 for 1 sale so I got 2 for $40.
They are insulated. One I have tube, repair stuff and tools. The other I keep water bottle in, since there are no water bottle mounts on this bike. And they don't interfere with the cables.

I only have 1 (Revelate Designs) I like it for almost anything. often, a spare sportcam rides in it. in good weather the outside pocket holds my phone.
on an epic all day ride this past fall I actually used if for food. 2 PB&J sandwiches cut into quarters
I'll even use it in the rain, I just hang it up at home to dry
btw, I dig that you nick named your bike

Please, Please, Please include location with your wonderful pics. I actually wish everyone would include a brief description/location with their pics. Some of us live vicariously through others.
