WTB: Campagnolo Headset or parts

Having badly damaged the nuts and spacer on my Campy (Record?) Headset, I'm in need of a replacement. Do you have one, or parts?

I'd rather keep the one that I already have so I don't need to press out the current races so the ideal thing is parts or whole of the same one (I'm not sure of the model but I'm assuming Nuovo Record - it comes off a circa 1982 Pinarello Record)

The one I have looks like this:

Ouch. Looks like a Super Record, Italian threaded HS. (Aluminum)

Definitely aluminum. It was so thoroughly stuck on the fork I had to use vise grips to remove it.

Super Record, I agree. It's a shame it got so mangled. Replacement is likely to be costly. Unless you're intending a true restoration, I'd look at a more affordable headset. Tange has a variety of decent quality, affordable headsets that are cosmetically similar to Record and Super Record.

If nothing else, I have the Stronglight Delta I took off my Colnago (replaced with a black Chris King). My concern is finding one with the right stack height.

The Delta is a great headset. It's both lighter and more durable than the Super Record. They both have about 42mm stack, so they should interchange without much fuss.

N.B. if the Super Record crown race is in decent condition, don't toss it. They are notoriously fragile, and replacements are hard to come by. Someone will buy it from you, I'm sure.

When I bought the Colnago, the Delta was working just fine. But, I figured (rightly as it turned out) that the lube would need to be replaced. But, I could never get it to lock properly at exactly the right load and stay that way. So, I gave up and put in a black Chris King (which fit better anyway since I went fully modern with the build).

I never throw anything away it seems If I struck out with finding a replacement I was planning on putting it back, ugly or not, just the way I took it off (ie, vise grips)
