Had a friend buy this for me last week while I was on vacation. He delivered it today and I知 pretty pleased. Needs a good scrubbing and the usual new parts. Looking forward to riding it. I知 leaving it as is, I値l replace stuff when it breaks.

I like finding old bikes like this with all original components as well. I likely would have bought this bike had it been local to me as well. Most of the old French parts are pretty good but the delrin front derailleur and shifters tend to be a problem.

All cleaned up with new tires. Saved everything except the front derailleur, it cracked. The Simplex rims cleaned up nice. Pretty smooth ride.
