Can’t seem to find bars on their site, do you have a link you could share to see the bars, pricing and details? Thank you.

Thank you for the link.

Big 150mm reach but also 150mm drop; bet that will evolve to a much shallower number after Tokyo for a lot of the bar makers.

Reportedly costs $10k though.
This bike has an interesting story of design. Vorteq used 3d scanning to get model's of world's fastest bikes, then they used airflow simulation to find out which shapes are the best to implement them to this bike. Sound's interesting, but now we need to check it in real life.

There are some New WR-X Sprint Bars that are much cheaper with a 300mm width, 85mm reach and 120mm drop available from Worxbikes in the UK.
I use the Worx alloy 360mm Track Bars and very happy with them.
I noticed the Swiss team and some of the Spanish riders were using the Worx Alloy Bars at the Euros this year.
Forum won’t let me link to them?

Guys, want to talk on this topic.

Is trends now shallower and long sprint bar?

Deep drop is dead?

think it’s mostly down to development of frames with lower top tubes and shorter head tubes.
To make these work with deeper bars requires an upturned stem and spacers for most.
shallower and longer works better with modern frames and will be more aero with less frontal area.
I would hazard a guess that they are stiffer as well.

m@tty Make sense! I forgot to look at headtube. These days they tend to get lower and lower compared to old generation frame which is higher.

So deep drop + lower head tube is way too low is it. Or its illegal by UCI rules "no bottom of drop bar will exceed the top of front wheel" I guess?

The recent trend in sprint bike set up is a really long reach (top tube, stem, bar) and higher bar position than was previously popular. You can see this on the Dutch and most of the current world level teams. I think this makes the arm position more horizontal and hence more aero. Strikingly similar to Boardman's "Merckx" hour record set up.

I think the move to narrower bars has forced longer reach positions as your arms have to go somewhere.

It will be a development of aero testing.
