Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My 585 is eerily similar to rossb, particularly interesting cause that is also my last name. The ride is oh so sweet and oh so fast, especially uphill, but the only color is black.

Hello mirona,

I hadn't heard about your crash. I hope you fared better than the bike. Bikes are generally replaceable. I also hope the SUV driver's insurance covers your losses.

If you get a new Look post a shot of it on this thread. In the meantime, get well.

No they don't make a flat bar bike. However the 481 has a pretty relaxed geometry and you could easily build up a flat bar bike.

Hi,

Minor update to my Look KG481SL now that it's my training bike:

After renting a Specialized Allez Elite while in Hawai'i I can honestly say that I LOVE this bike and Campagnolo shifting.
