This photo was taken at a park where I hiked a lot before getting a bike (I still hike there, too). The bridge is symbolic for me. I had hiked up to it a few times but didn't cross. I told myself I'd do so once under 250lbs. I reached that point a little over a year ago and crossed it, so I see this as my own personal "victory bridge."
Shortly after I took this photo I managed to pedal my bike all the way up the most challenging hill I've attempted.
If you'll indulge a photo without a bike, the second picture was taken after I crossed the bridge the first time. The river was a lot higher and faster flowing then.
