I saw, not only one of these Ward's rear disk brakes but?? I think I saw a Sears one as well. Interesting.

Check Sears everyone, this is bike boom stuff, for their merchandise they sold decades ago, they have some diagrams of some old bike parts:

Huret Allvit rear derailleur: HURET ALLVIT REAR DERAILLEUR Diagram & Parts List for Model 502476940 Sears-Parts Bicycle-Parts | SearsPartsDirect (none of the parts are available but it is still on their webpages)

See the few other diagrams they have, one at the least is Shimano: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/mode...4/1303200.html

ANDRE BERTIN Road Bike

Very nice Andre Bertin bike, rare, a bit pricey, apparently in good shape.

I think he has tried to sell it at least one time before, no drop in the price and who am I to argue? Looks like a Reynolds sticker on the downtube.

$550, I don't know if I'd get it at $350 though I'm sure it is a very nice bike. I don't see many of that brand around.

Old school Motobecane Mixte, $75 in Indy. I'd put it in the Mixte thread, but I suspect it has a claw.

Golden glory!! Ross MB "cruiser" in Sunbury, PA

https://williamsport.craigslist.org/bik/5377769616.html

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Ross
size / dimensions: 26

"Really great riding mid1970's Ross 10 speed Cruiser, both fenders, beautiful gold-tone rims, accents and pump. Made in Allentown PA., USA !! Don't make em like this anymore, all excellent !! "

Would love to nip the gold beartraps, rims, brakes, levers, CRANK!! etc. off this "cruiser" (for my vintage Ross), which I am guessing is a Mt. Hood or Ranier? The front fork is not original to Ross MB, IMHO- is this some special LTD edition, commemorative? Can someone identify? That stem is worth the asking price to me....

MOTOBECANE WOMANS BIKE
Nice, looks like a Cotter crank and because of the chrome tipped fork, probably a Mirage in their line up for about 1975. VeloBase.com - Catalog Scans

Mirror and bell, so good, it got used but is in very good shape.

Oh, why'd I forget this one, seeing Ross up there, they remind me a bit of BCA, Bicycle Company of America and...

Ladies and Gentleman, it's The new yorker bike

It's the New Yorker:

Unique, kind of cool looking, I've certainly never seen this model.

And just for looks and uniqueness, it'd be fun to ride, I wouldn't take it into any bad weather, I'd try to keep it pristine.

From this forum, BCA was located in Bethlehem, Pa.

I realize tandems are a very narrow market, but even in spite of that, this strikes me as being an awful lot of bike for the asking price.

Very high price, especially given the complete lack of pictures, but since you don't see Schwinn Volares every day, I'll toss it here instead of on the "wacky" thread. Hopefully, if you are interested, you can talk some sense into the seller. I love my Volare. If this guy gets his asking price, I might have to sell it though.

That tandem is pretty cool. The front rack looks like it could hold a couple of suitcases!

I doubt the Giant-built Schwinns will impress most people here, but I like the way they ride. A fun project for the price-conscious CVer. And you gotta love that 'Pro Moly' frame

custom vintage filet brazed Stevenson 650b touring tandem

A very peculiar bike in so many ways...

The massive front rack.
48-spoke wheels.
Curved rear seat tube.
Double-to-single front seat tube with custom front derailleur mount.
Phil Wood disc brake.
Dog-leg stoker stem.
3rd set of rear stays.
Water bottle braze-ons above the front tire where you could never possibly fit a water bottle.
Stoker seat tube taller than captain seat tube.

On one of these bike forums, there is a real Moser freak, listening to him, $390 doesn't sound that steep.
