The Plastic things are what are used to run aero lever cables on a handle bar that doesn't have cut outs for them, a tunnel if you will.

From what I could find, the Wellgos are supposed to be SPD compatible so hopefully they'll work out.
If not then I can always join back into the BOC queue and slip the pedals into the box for someone else to try them out.

Dag guys! I was hoping that you'd all forget about that thing... I should have never used a sentence with the word suit in it! The skinsuit is hanging on the line in the basement. I have not tried it on yet, but will make sure I do before the weekend is out. I've been pretty busy the past couple weeks with company and whatnot, so it's been on the back burner.

The BOC is once again in the hands of the U.S. Postal Service as of lunchtime today. Weighed in at just over 17 pounds, the mail guy said it felt heavier.

I also went ahead and got a tracking number for it so I can track where it went if it doesn't get where it's going, or at least find the last known location for it.

That Rockies shirt is going to look good in Finland.

So what your saying is that there is, at 17 lb, an expensive lightweight bike in the box.

There are enough components inside the box to enable one to get a lightweight 17 pound bike back on the road, assuming the bike needs the components in the box to get the bike back on the road. But as far as a complete bike? Box was too small to stuff one in there unless it was chopped up, in which case this would become a box of crap for the framebuilders group and not so much one for the C&V group.

ps, just checked the tracking number and the E.T.A. of the B.O.C. is potentially on Saturday January 5th.

Per the USPS tracking, the BOC is on the local delivery truck for today.
Should be interesting to see how it arrived since I used a new box.

It had been corner dropped at some point, plus got cold and snowy on our porch, then condensation moistened when I brought it inside. Figured safer to just get a new box.

Well the BOC made it here safe and sound ( I worked late the last couple of days and this is the first I could get back to it) and I must say it was the crappiest BOC yet lol, the box was even in great shape ( a first since I started playing). I went through and removed a few things for myself ( & a few because I couldn't get to fit back into the box) and took out a few things that really shouldn't have been in there ( If it's broken or more or less trash don't put it in the box, Don't take the name of the game literally). Here are my pictures and it should be out to AndyCapp in the morning.

Glenn

As received,
,
What I kept and will use on a few up coming projects, the seat wouldn't fit back in the box but if I can get the Mongoose lettering off I have a bike it will be prfect on.

No kidding. I hated repacking that thing.

On a positive note, I'm glad to see more of my stuff go to a good home.

BOC arrived today ( 1/12/2013 ).

Like others have said, not much to get excited about, but that's how it goes. Still love this game and I'll want back in for another round after it makes another lap around the country. I'll be going through it tonight to see if I can't make use of something in here. I took the "as received" pic and my camera batteries just died. So I'll have to wait until tomorrow to post pics. PM on it's way out to "lasauge" for an address request.
