Some lug pics

Today was a nice day to drag out some lugs for snapshots. I don't have the patience, nor the photographic skill to give them the studio portrait treatment. Please forgive me for the unorganized jumble.

I'll attach one pic. Go here for more: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmMwB3Vm

Some of the lugs in the photo:
Bocama
Prugnat (plain long-point "S", windowed "S-4", mixte, and blank for carving)
Dubois
Nervex (Pro, Serie Legere)
Otsuya (regular steel & stainless)
Eisho
San Rensho
Nikko (long & short point, and blank for carving)
Cinelli (welded long point, cast short point)
Medici
Masi
Colnago
Hetchins (several named styles)
Chris Bishop (Long Shen cast stainless)
Columbus Air
Haden
Ekla
Oscar Egg
Capella
Emilio Bozzi
Tange
& several more I don't know the names of

Yeah, I know I have a hoarding problem!

Nice collection!

All you need to find is some metric tubing to go with that baggie...

I must have been playing at the same table too. This is by no means the total of my collection of old lugs.

I didn't realize bicycle frame lugs were subject to COVID-19 hoarding. I guess you could trade them for toilet paper or hand sanitizer.

I have maybe 4 sets of metric 753 (sorry no inventory, and I haven't looked lately). Still, more metric lugs than metric tubesets.

I'm officially certified to build with 753 too -- not that it matters... The only 753 frames I built were before I got the 'diploma'. I worked at a shop that had passed their test, so we could buy the tubes. They didn't ask who would be actually brazing the frames. By the time I took their test under my own name years later, 753 wasn't really a thing anymore, and I ended up not making any 753 frames after that. Ironic.

Actually, Mark, I think you've got the basis for a really nice poster that would do well here among us old reprobates. Let us know when it's available or when we can get a .jpg

<<< Twitching uncontrollably, and drooling madly.

I have a set of 1010B front and rear ends, a prugnat (?)BB, and a recently purchased Campy aero DT shifter braze-on, Oh, and an oxygen tank (full sized) that I used for fish (koi) transport. It's been a very long time since I touched a torch...
