A Rare Deal in COVID Times
It's no doubt COVID has jacked up local second hand prices, especially in Madison where C&V bikes are usually a priced a bit high.
However, I saw a pic of a tire on FB marketplace with the description Cannondale Touring Bike, clicked and found this:
A 1985 Cannondale ST400 with a Shimano 600 group for the scale tipping cost of $75. The bike was really well cared for with most consumables still in good shape with the exception of the tires which I replaced.
so if you're feeling the COVID blues, deals are still out there to be had!

You are correct with prices being on the high side for C&V
BUT the C&V are BETTER bikes !!!!!!!
