Addiction LXXVIII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Trouble in paradise. There was an assemblage of five friendly neighborhood crows in the lawn. Two or more mockingbirds were in a tree above, screeching away. One began dive-bombing operations. Hoo boy.

Edit: I just realized that was my first ride in two months.

I run one full time. Plus, this is the first day out of complete lockdown. I find that I am not fully on my game behind the wheel after an extended period away from it. And I don't text while driving. Many of whom I share the road with do.

Not at all. I find myself delaying the start for no particular reason. I might just decide to take the little bike again. It only takes one fall to nullify two months of healing.

Unfortunately 20.10 miles. I gotta see if I can shave a tenth mile off that route, so I can get the even Steven trifecta.

Hey guys. I hope you are all well and the virus didn't strike anyone in my absence. All good here. I actually just came in to put my steel bike up for sale but thought I should say hello while I am signed in.

16 km on the little bike. This time I feel it in the legs.

I ride 60 cm road bikes
Edit: 32 oz pre-hydration. None on the bike. It's tough to drink with a mask on. And masks are required, away from home.
