Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Props to BOA

Just wanted to quickly post about the quality service provided by BOA. I've got a pair of shoes with 39k miles. I'm on my 3rd set of BOA fasteners. Each time they start to slip, I just go on-line & request a new set. Within 4 or 5 days I've got them in the mail. No charges whatsoever. Lifetime warranty. Just wanted to give them praise as we don't hear about the good stuff so often.

I popped in to my LBS for another dial. It took them a few minutes to find the right one, but they had it. "Cool - how much do I owe you?"

"Oh - nothing. BOA doesn't want you to have to pay for them so they give them to us to give to you."

Didn't realize that. My winter boots have the BOA's. I was skeptical at first, but I am a believer.

The upper BOAs on my Diadoras (about two years old now) have started to slip, and this thread finally reminded me to order a replacement pair.
