650B Wheelset: Velocity A23/Campagnolo Record- Freewheel
Gorgeous set of 650B wheels hand-built for me in 2016 by Peter Chisholm, former owner of Vecchio's Cycle.
Polished Campagnolo Record hubs laced to Velocity A23 silver rims, rear is offset. Includes rim tape and correct Campagnolo skewers. These take a freewheel (not a cassette) and are 126mm rear/100mm front spacing.
Very minor rim wear due to use- fewer than 200 miles- nothing major. Hella strong wheels that run smooth and roll forever.
$285 shipped in the USA.

+1. I spy Sapim butted spokes, and brass spoke washers to ensure the elbows seat well.
This would be a great choice for someone wanting to get their feet wet with 650B, and then they wouldn't need to "upgrade" from cheapie starter wheels later!

Yep, they are really, really, really, really, really nice wheels. Hubs are in incredible condition internally amd I polished them on the buffer before sending them off to Peter for assembly.
These were an option for me on the Pelozzoli, really only rode them once or twice locally & then used them at the Tucson Tour in 2016. They have been in bags since then.
Now I have a dedicated 650b bike in Schwinderella, and these are redundant.
Skewers are real nice, too.

@rccardr, if you don't get any bites here, you should offer them on the 650b Google group. Plenty of 650B/freewheel fans there.

I've tried postng them twice, but they never appear on the thread.
Not sure what I am doing wrong, but clearly something is amiss...

Thanks, TS. About 2 minutes after I read your reply it appeared on the 650b forum. Then I saw on a later thread that to post the first time you had to send an e-mail to someone, I guess the admin.
Regardless, wheels have been SOLD!
Thanks to all.
