Roval SLX24 Performance Issues?

Has anyone experienced defects or issues with Roval SLX24 wheels?

Bikes: Too many. Giant Trance X 29, Surly Midnight Special get the most time.

I haven't worked at a Specialized dealer before so I'm not the most up to date on how their products wear, but it feels like I've seen a disproportionate amount of rim and hub flange failure on Roval wheels, but maybe they just have a large chunk of the market. I don't think I've worked on that exact wheel before. Those wheels look pretty nice on paper, for what it's worth.

What are the symptoms of "hub flange failure", as I believe I have a hub failure issue.

Interesting, I've had zero problems from my Roval C38s in about 10,000 miles now...not even needing to true them. I also own a pair of SLX24 wheels that I have on my Diverge. I think I only have about 3,000 miles on them, but again, no problems. I did have to tune up the trueing on them once.

The hub flange is where the spokes attach to the hub—I've seen them crack and break. It's pretty obvious. The hub internals on your particular wheel are dt swiss star ratchet which is a very reliable design.

I’ve had 2 rear hub flange on SLX24 break within 12 months 🙁

That sounds like a real concern. Since my original post, mine have performed very well and I'm fully satisfied. I kept working on it and it was indeed related to brake components, not the wheels. I use them exclusively on my gravel bike (which always includes plenty of pavement riding, and all is good.
