This is a US-designed Chinese built carbon bike that I believe comes in at about $2000 for frame and fork. The first production batch went out this summer and a bunch of them were at the recent masters nationals. This is an effort being put together by Bobby Walthour IV. I have only ridden one in the infield so I can't really comment, but those that have them are digging them. Nice lower-cost alternative to the Dolan, step up from the Planet X and multi branded Chinese frames.

Look 464 AL-P 2014
I'm currently in the process of building one of these. I bought the Large, biggest size they make. 57cm seat tube, 58.4 top tube, fairly similar to my current road bike so it should fit pretty well. I'm amazed at how small a frame set looks without all the bits on it.
I'm considering some wheels made by Psimet for training and entry level racing with Velocity Deep V's, Dura-Ace cranks, and a Deda stem and Deda pista bars.

Yeah, the round seat tube was a key feature! I think sizes right now are 52, 54, 56 and 58 but there is also a 60cm on the drawing boards from what I hear.

Bobby is super rad. I was privileged enough to ride team sprint with him at old guy nats just now, we're really sorry to lose him here at Hellyer! Bobby is a former national team rider and a total badass on the bike. The bike is indeed light, but if it can stand up to his punishment (I believe he's over 200#) it should be ok for just about anybody. He's told me the geometry is pretty much right on the Dolan's, so it should handle as expected.

As far as the wheels you plan to build I'd suggest using different rims, those Deep Vs are tanks.

I built up a set of training wheels with H Plus Son Archetypes that I'm quite happy with. They're 23 mm wide to give a nice tire shape and about 25 mm deep so should be on par aerodynamically with the Deep Vs but they're about 110g lighter (470g vs 580) and come in around $70.
Just saw Velocity has a new (to me anyway) rim called the Aileron that looks like it would make a nice everyday wheel but they list at $126.99 on Velocity's site.
I'm sure there's a few more options out there if you look around but the price on the Archetypes will be pretty hard to match.

Hoy Bikes now has an upgraded Fiorenzuola .002 with Dura Ace cranks and hubs along with Nitto B123 sprint bars:

I know this is the complete bike thread but thought I'd comment. I actually just purchased the Deep Vs w/ Formula hubs. I heard they were heavier but wanted a durable wheelset for training and have seen people using them so I took the leap. I'm going to invest in a nicer wheelset for racing. Wheels will be here next week so I'll let you know how things go. Picked them up from Velo Mine. Happy to get my bike back together!

Can't help but notice there are a whole bunch of enduros on cervelo frames at the world cup. I think I'd ride one as long as there's a size that fits me without reservations. Can't remember which thread that discussion was in, but this seems like a fine place to continue it.

If you are looking at one the down sides are that the stability cuts both ways mostly at low speeds, the bottom bracket is a cm lower than a stock Tiemeyer so pedal clearance might be an issue at low speeds on a steep track and the slacker head angle makes for a longer wheel base and heavier steering. On the T4 the chainstays are thick so no room for a stages power meter and fat wheels fit but not much room for going out of alignment and the rear dropouts are what looks like carbon instead of steel so chain tugs are useful.
All up I like the frame and it is an upgrade from a Tiemeyer for me.

As an engineer I am intrigued by their quote "Instead of the industrial TIG weld we've applied a smoothweld at all the joints." What is a smoothweld?
