OP referred to the group as a clot, so "clot rule."

Thanks for the nod, @TimothyH, though your comment about this thread seems ironic..."This thread is great. A quarter of the people on this thread are full of bluster and another quarter are full of crap...(and the remaining 50%), trolling and sarcasm. (Jim from Boston is the exception)."

I was in a group ride last Sunday sponsored by the Advocacy group of which I am a member.
Riding in park multi-use trails we all tried to keep to the right side but sometines we had to get on the left to pass pedestrians, joggers and other slow moving cyclist ( who may or may not be part of our group ride).
So being part of the group, I had no idea if we were in fact unintentionally blocking and inconveniencing everybody else even when we wete trying not to.
It's all based on whose perspective just like the different perspective amongst motorist, pedestrian, and cyclists that could be the same person.

I had to look up the definition of MUP. Why were you riding on "Major Urinary Protein"?
So, did you mean you came upon a kidney stone blocking your path?
This is all very confusing to me.

Americans are generally offended when someone points out they’ve done something wrong even if they’re guilty. It’s part of our culture to be inconsiderate to others and offended if that behavior is brought to attention. In Japan that would never have happened. Ah, but our culture is so advanced, NOT.

It must be so inconvenient for you that there are other people in the world. As you go forward in life you might find things go better for you when you make an effort to get along with others rather than trying to make them get along with you.
When I ride single track if I meet a solo rider I expect him/her to give way as much as I do. That's just common courtesy. But when I meet a group I always get out of the way and let them pass. That's just common sense.

This tread is so typical of current social media activity. An insignificant post turns into a urination contest. Turn off your phone, computer, tablet, etc & go for a ride!
