Glad I made time part 2, the Moab edition

This month my son and I went to Moab for a 3 day 2 night trip. We had a great time testing our skills riding the slick rock trail. ( Which included me ending the slickrock ride with a classic face plant. )

We also road the Gemini bridges trail which is a great ride. For a ten year old, riding the slick rock trail in the morning followed by the 16 mile gemini bridges trail proved quite a challenge for a 10 year old and for me as well.

All in all it was a great trip.

Actually he did fine on the Slick Rock, however the washboard road on the gemini bridges trail about did him in. We both came home with a clear understanding that he needs a new bike.

I just built up a nice little hard tail for my son's 10th B-Day back in July. Check out the Jamis Eureka frames on JensonUSA. He's now asking for clipless for Christmas!
