Caad 3 shifter boss

Hi folks
I searched for year for a good alu frame with dts.
Eventually two monthes ago I got a caad 3 in my size like new.
Ride it and loved it
I switched out all the components from my old bike but the Rd shifter works but wouldn't hold good. Never had a problem with these shifters before. Anyway cut a long story short peviously some one must have used the wrong size bolt and split the boss.
I have seen the nova kit and a decent looking clamp on ebay for oversize tubing so no big deal. I can fix it.
My question is what is the best way to remove the old bosses without damaging the frame or paint?
And i actually gave away my old frame and would hate to have to ask for it back.

Well as it turns out the bosses are not glued on this frame which was my concern.
The fd boss is a two part jobbie. So i unscrewd it and for now respaced the bolts which got me past the bad threading on the broken boss stub.
I will keep an eye on it and if it doesn't hold up i can use a long m5 bolt from rd side straight through to the fd side.

Fd side with plastic insert which is removed to acess the nut

The broken boss. I can use an bolt from here right thru to the other side. Clean out the threads first

A couple of turns on this nut to remove both bosses.
