Can someone point me to....

...the thread where a guy had invented a combination headset/stem/quill thing?

IIRC, it replaced both the headset and the quill stem, and provided a way to run a threadless stem on a previously quill 1" threaded head tube, but NOT using a quill adapter.

Does anyone remember that thread? He had drawings and diagrams and claimed to have a couple in production.

I want a black one.
If they work.

Now, based on your Avatar and username.....does not "All Along the Watchtower" fit about perfectly?
Much better, too, than the Dylan version, which is cool in it's own right, but wouldn't fit the movie...
