Hit the Performance for a Pair of Forte Strada 700c x 25. Only $9.00 apiece so I couldn't say no. Seems as nice as $13-20 tires I've gotten before (Zaffiros and Dynamics) Hard to tell at this point since I've only got one on the rear. I'll load up a spare front rim I have with the other one and take it out tomorrow. So much easier for me to gauge quality from a front. Seems like it's a hair smaller than Michelin Dynamic 25s.
Might as well add a pic of one mounted.

They use pretty low grade rubber and you will start to see cracks in them after about a year if the do the same as the Gothams and and Metro's I have run. I know the Gotham's are being spec made by Pannaracer. Says so if you look on the side wall. They are Pannaracer Crosstown molds being used but significantly heavier for some reason. The Forte lists at 700g for 700x35 where the Crosstown is listing 600g. Leads me to believe they run a lower grade carcass as well.

I suspect Pannaracer is spec manufacturing the whole Forte line. Look at the sidewalls real close and see if you can read anything molded into the rubber.

Still making adjustments to get the Specialized as comfortable as my Litespeed. I didn't like the flat top handlebar that came on the Spec so ordered this handlebar -- 2009 Easton EA50. A lot more comfortable and the price was right -- $15.

This is the thread that will never end because the purchases keep on coming....
Yesterday I bought a tire gauge, and a jersey to match my fairly-new Rapha biretta. Two days before that it was front and back tires for the MTB (previous ones are literally worn smooth!). This afternoon I'll be out looking for a new bike stand, new brake pads for the MTB, & hoping for a Memorial Day Sale price...

Got my first bib shorts (Cannondale Snare Bib Shorts). $129.99, got 'em when they were on sale for ~$45 .

Also, got a red Conti GP4000 for my rear wheel, a small saddle-bag, a new jersey, a hardwood multi tool, a new computer, and a spare tube. Less than $200 spent on the lot (including bib), so not bad IMO.

Finally broke down and picked up a GPS watch. Couldn't pay the 300+ for a Garmin so I went with the Timex for 180 with a HR strap. Should be waiting for me when I get home today.

My wife has been using that same rack for years and it has worked great. Some dork liberated us of the lock bolt that keeps the rack up about a month ago. PB is going to see if they can get a replacement. May want to keep it in the glove box when riding.. sad because only a bike rider would steal it...

Ordered mine yesterday to hold an older Timex GPS watch I have. Now I'll be able to see speed, elapsed time, distance, and cadence all at the same time. On two screens though.

I finally sold the other bike and I combined that with a little bonus I received from the employer and then took the plunge. Took her for a bit of a ride yesterday and came away with the initial impression that this is like riding with rear suspension compared to the old Madone. So far it’s living up to all the hype. I am a happy man!!
Sold the cages and the Look Keos' too so decided to try the Look Keo 2 Max and these cages from BBB. Im living my deam folks.....

My old shoes wouldn't unclip this morning. Trying to get the shoe unclipped the cleat spun around 180, needed replacement shoes asap and bought these. Tried them out on the trainer at home, so far they feel comfortable.
