Cage swap
Is the derialer I want to make long cage with either of the two other cages but it comes apart diffrent and might no work can't find any pics showing front cage offf

The others came apart diffrent but had the same machined post I'll just figure it out. I didn't want to disassemble things if others had the knowledge, this is the Mecca of bicycle how tooooo

I do this quite a bit with Suntour stuff ( easier to do ) & I have done some Shimano derailleurs ( mostly bent cages ) but you need to use a derailleur of the exact same design & lots of measuring. You would probably be better off selling the short cage XT and get the one you need.
