I have over tightened my dropper post seat collar. Help!!

I can not undo the collar of my Giant Contact Switch 31.8 2018 dropper. How would I be able to undo this?

You have not explained why you can't "undo" the collar. Is the bolt damaged? If you can't get a wrench to turn it, cut the bolt at the slot in the collar. A dremel type rotary tool with a cutoff wheel should do the trick.

Sorry if I used the wrong term, but I mean the part of the dropper post that the stanchion goes into and this does not have a bolt, it just screws on. I do not mean the clamp on the frame that holds the seat. I would attach an image but I am not allowed sorry.

Use a small strap wrench to remove it. It probably won't take much force to do it with a wrench.
