Why the Difficulty in Finding 10spd, 110BCD Ultegra or Dura Ace Crankset in 172.5?
Been searching for months to replace the debonded like-new, FSA K-Force crankset on my 06, all DA Roubaix Pro.
This beautiful bike has been just hanging on the wall since I bought it months ago...
Please help!

What kind of help do you need? A new crankset? Just get an 11 speed crankset. It will work fine with your 10 speed group.

Shimano 11 speed cranks are completely interchangeable with 10 speed drivetrains.

FWIW, the bike I use on my trainer has a 7 speed Campy crankset with 10 speed 105 derailleurs/STI, and 9-speed chain. You'd be amazed at how much you can get away with. Gotta love that marketing - they say "not optimal" and you buy something you don't need

My cross bike is 10-speed SRAM (Red shifters, Force RD) but the FD is 9spd Dura Ace and the crankset is Suntour Superbe Pro (which I think was 8-speed?). It all works great..

The R600 and R700 are good 10 speed cranks in 110BCD and you can find nice used ones on Ebay. The R700 is said to be ~Ultegra or DuraAce 10 speed while the 600 ~105. I have a 700 and while I can't claim to know if that's actually true, it's very nice. I think they simply pre-date when Shimano started marketing group-specific 110BCD cranks.

I have the same experience as above. The suggested number of speeds of crankset and chainrings seems to be just a suggestion. I have seen problems when running sub-7sp (pre-indexing) cranks with 7 speed and higher drivetrains (results in chain 'skating' atop the middle ring when trying to shift up), but my experience is that anything from the indexing era will work with just about any number of cogs and associated chains. Mixing 10 and 11 speed will definitely not be a problem.
