Ambient Temperature readings during a bike ride with fenix 5x

The objective is to have the data recorded for temperatures to be ambient instead of my body. How do i achieve this? Thank you.

Get a Garmin Tempe, it's about $30. Mount it somewhere on the bike that's shaded from the sun. (Mine is under the bottom bracket.) I have three of these, one is clipped to my ski boot and another to my backpack.

Or take your watch off and put it on the handlebars.
