Need help please - which bike's best
Hi Guys,
New to forum and new to road bikes.
Long story short, Im replacing a stolen mountain bike and my insurance company covers me so I was about to pull trigger on getting a Specialized StumpJumper Carbon 29er.
After some deliberation, I am now thinking, that with the arrival of my son in the last 2 years, I have less time to go mountain biking and more time for commuting and rides in my local area (Sydney, Aus). Anyway, person looking after the claim offered the following as replacements in the form of a road bike:
- 2017 Merida Scultura team disc (Dura Ace / Disc / Carbon Wheelset) CF4
- 2018 BMC SLR02 One disc (Di2 / disc)
- 2018 Giant TCR Adv Pro O disc https://www.giant-bicycles.com/au/tcr...ro-0-disc-2018
Both 2018 bikes have this Di2 tech.
Any advice please on which of the above road bikes would be best?

The most correct answer is: The one that fits best and makes you want to ride your bike. Electronic shifting and discs put you on the top of the bike heap.
Sorry to hear about your stolen mtb, musta been a nice one with those roadies as comps.

I'm a sucker for Giant bikes, but that's just me. Don't own one now, but have in the past, and they were great!

If you plan on using any of those bikes for commuting, I hope you have a very secure place to store it while at work.
As others have said, ride all 3 and choose the one that feels best...or just gets your juices going. All very nice bikes.
