Puch Marco Polo
Anyone know anything about this bike? Frame quality, components, value? It's the only pic I have of it... Is it a decent ride? Where is it made? Thanks, RB

The bike is Austrian and has a reynolds 531 double butted main frame. I assume--but I do not know for certain--that the fork and rear triangle are made of hi tensile steel which was a pretty common way to make bikes. It was a relatively high end bike back in the day and it's worth as it sits somewhere in the neighborhood of $150.

This is a realy nice basic road bike from the mid 70's. Likely 531 frame as said with fairly nice components, this one looks to have sat unused for as long time so it will likley need tires, cables, brake pads and bar tape plus a full servicing so figure on spending $100+ on top of what you pay for the bike. That said I would agree onn the $150 or so value as presented.

Gotta ask - where is this Puch Marco Polo located, and is that a 58-60 cm-ish frameset?
