As the title states Day, Week, Whatever.... here's an Oldie
Probably about 20 years ago.
The wife titled the picture = "Just how much fun can 3 people have on a bike?"
The neighbors called it the Seuss-mobile.
Funny how none of the other kids ever asked for a ride, likely parental discretion.
edit: just saw the date stamp, so only 18 years ago.

Oyster Bay NY.
30-pounder Parrott gun, cast in 1861 and deployed on US Navy blockade enforcing ship USS R.R. Cuyler during the Civil War. The cannon was presented to Oyster Bay by local resident and President Theodore Roosevelt in 1903. I like muzzleloaders but don't own any quite this big.

The gap between LBS and the restaurant next door. I doubt all these came from the restaurant.

Monday.... rear ended by a municipal garbage truck and pushed into a F150 in front of me.
I walked away with just some sore muscles.

The fact that there aren't a lot of scuffs on the hairnet is probably a good sign!
I think those shoes would look good on the next vintage bike ride, and it might be fun to see if you still know how to flip up the pedals and get into them.

Glad you're OK. Since I drive a well-maintained near-classic that is worth far more to me than its Blue Book price, I worry about losing out financially in mishap like yours.
