Dropper/Squirt bottle for chain lube
Thought I'd have an easier time finding a simple squirt bottle that has secure-attaching cap, appropriate for dropping or thin squirt chain lube. A hunt on amzn returns a lot of bottles sold as for frosting or decorating cakes or for condiments (ketchup), etc. Basically looking for the same type of bottle that's used for various 4oz packaged lubes (eg. Rock N Roll, Prolink, etc) but with a wider fill mouth, so I can fill from a 32oz large bottle of lube I bought. Suggestions?

I've not looked around for a dropper-type bottle ... I bought the small 4 oz container of ProLink then a larger bottle of it and keep refilling the small dropper container. Not sure it's the most cost effective but that's what I've been doing.

Kinney Drugs is where I found a little batch of "travel bottles" a couple of which had screw off tops and little spouts that turn on by sticking out, and off by folding down 90°. they seem to work fine for chain oil.

Just buy NFS lube. It’s the best chain lube.

If you get the plastic squeeze bottles, get ones with the cut to size snouts so you can have a tiny stream. I use these and they are great for lubing a chain. I also use one of these bottles for my secret rust solvent recipe. Don't tell anyone
It is 50% Acetone and 50% ATF.

The generic bottles above have far too much flow for dripping chain lube. Just buy a small bottle of chain lube and refill like other have said..

My wife uses eye drops on a regular basis. I just save her old bottles, and use them. Perfect!

Try these search terms on amazon (or adjust them):
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=screw+lid...ref=nb_sb_noss
Or "flip top cap dispenser bottle" which can get you something like this:

The bottles I posted about have a Yorker tip and they are not completely sealed at the tip but the hole was so tiny that they need to be snipped off even to let a tiny stream out. This is great though, you can trim it down to where you can squeeze out jus drops if you want. Great for chain lube.................

I've kept things really simple. I use TriFlo and Finish Line wet MTB lube in the small bottles. (TriFlo for summer bikes, the wet lube for winter bikes.) TriFlo has a plastic tube that works well for getting to derailleur pivots, etc. Yes, this costs more than larger containers but the annual cost is tiny. And oiling chains is slow; two drops per roller, but the mess stays quite manageable.

During the pandemic I was looking for squirt bottles to put my alcohol in and found them on EBay. Ton of options and sizes.

Thanks. That's the idea anyway and comes with a firmly attached screw top to close, but I only need one tip, and the 1/2 ounce bottle size would mean 60+ refills to get thru my 32oz bottle of lube. I'll probably just do as suggested and figure out if I can pry open and refill one of my other 4oz lube bottles once it's emptied.
