Riser Bar Width?
Just picked up some new bars, they come 560mm, but I think it might be a little wide. How do you usually govern a good width? Is it based on shoulder width? Should they be slightly wider than your shoulders? Slightly narrower? Or should I just grab them and see where its comfortable and then cut them?

I would start on the wide end by cutting long and making adjustments inward. That way you don't cut too short!
I like slightly wider than my shoulders on a riser.

good comfortable width is about shoulder's width. Mtb have wider for leverage. Hipster have ultra narrows for street cred.. i mean, squeezing thru traffic

I like wide risers, myself. 22" sounds just fine.
But, what gt35 said - Cut 'em down a little at a time. My first risers started at 25" and I took a 1/2" off each side at first. Then took off 1/4" each side a couple more times 'til they were just right.
