Hate to say it, the typical beautiful Klein paint job, with a really butt friggin ugly set of wheels and tires.

I love everything but the wheelset/tires and handlebars. Risers weren't a thing back then and red—nope. Cranks, bottle cage, fork and anything 3DV is a big YES, though.

As stated above, there is a lot to love here especially in the build details and unique parts list. Too much color here for me but it's hard to deny the little nuggets of excellence. I really like how solid and purposeful the internal cable stop looks for where the rear brake cable enters the frame on the second picture. There is no trying to be "aero" here! Just well grounded connections.
I'd kill for a set of Cook Bros cranks like that (in silver or mayyyybe black)!
Whenever I see oddball colors for tires as an option when I'm ordering my boring 'ole black pairs, I always think, "who on earth would order those!?". I suppose we now have our answer!

The quality of color and finish on Klein bikes was exceptional at the time they were introduced and even now they look very good if a user took care of it.
I have often favored function over form, but this beautiful frame is drowning in parts that just don’t seem to go together… I hope it rides well. 😉

Total rainbow vintage greatness Klein frame and judy XC fork are about as good as it gets if good., Just have to ask does it ride at least half as good as it looks ? As a semi vintage MTB bike guy having owned road worked on a lot this is one of the nicest I have seen online or person I like the matching color touches very nice.

Aside from being the most eclectic color mix ever... that frame's paint is perfect, absolutely flawless. This bike should be in a museum.
