Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Carbon cage to replace the sketchy aluminum one. And new bar tape- doesn't match (might post it on hot or not just to see them weep)

I thought I'd try Montana Huckleberry. My normal flavor, espresso, was out of stock.

Got the same one as my first pump from the LBS too. The owner saw me picking up a el cheapo one and told me to spend the extra $$$ on the Bontrager. I've never thought twice about it.

New chain. My old cheapie KMC that came on the bike got to 1/16" wear (stretch) over 12 links after only 1300 miles, so I decided it was time for an upgrade.

Brushed aluminum and pretty Sram Rival carbon parts.

This is only half od the list... the rest was also from a local bike shop. Ridiculous.

- pair of KMC x10 gold missing links
- Fizik green handlebar tape and Lizard skins green handlebar tape. I have to see which one will closely match the green on the new frameset when it arrives.

- 2012 De Rosa Merak Evolution frameset (matte black/green)
