Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's normally close to $600 + shipping + finish options + accessories. Through the group buy it's $450 + the other stuff so you save about $150. You can see the exact buy here.

Finally got a plastic bike.
End of season sales made it hard to pass up. It took a while to track down one the right size but that turned out to be the cheapest shop too.

I am interested in seeing how this works out for you and if the ordering process went along smoothly. I have been thinking about going this route and want to see how it works out for you.

I've been having trouble with my camelbak podium big chills launching from the bottle cage on fast downhills... and after one too many emergency stops and riding back UP the hill to get it, I was unable to find it on a century last week and suffered with only one bottle.

New to me and featuring "No Ejecto technology" (true, the packaging says so!).... I'm very pleased with both the look and the function.

Glass over CF?

I believe they're real CF with a nice gloss coat on top. The only option is the color of the Arundel sticker, which you can't see anyway.

Yup I chose glass because i didn't want to pay $60 each for the CF ones, & only save a few grams for double the price just didn't seem justifiable.
I like the matte black look of the resin too.

I got a new RADical bike stand in last week. Well built and at 39.00, free shipping it was a bargain. Very much like the Park Tool PCS-9/10 stands. Went over it with a fine toothed comb looking for weak points or materials at that price. Couldn't find any.

I'm a big F1 fan and 65% Scottish. I have always lusted after David Coultards helmet. So I had a Catlike painted like his. My St. Andrews cross Catlike
