Thanks, Virgil. Me too! Re the frame: the jury is still out on its identity. It's been discussed here and here, but no agreement has been reached as yet besides it being British. The name of Ernie Clements keeps popping up, as he seems to have had close relations with both Falcon and Carlton. I'm letting myself be inspired by the famous French boutique builders, so for the time being it's my "Ronnie Hearse".

Here is one of mine, not that it would ever see the rain or even a wet road.

Ooh, that's very pretty. Nice crankset and fender combination.
You have to ride that one only in the rain because if you rode it on a sunny day you might blind somebody.

My two Dawes from both ends of the range, just a few miles away from chewa two posts above.
Fox from 1979, the entry-level "schoolboy" bike, although it's got a few period upgrades. Originally it would have had Rigida Superchromix rims and basic Huret shifters and mechs, and the brakes were side-pull when I got it. Now that I have the real thing (see below) I'll probably put the Fox closer to standard spec.
Super Galaxy from 1982. This was bought from the first owner and had lost some originality along the way. I am in the process of doing a kind of rolling restoration on it, trying to replace the newer components with something closer to original spec. I recently managed to find the correct rear rack in the correct colour, which pleased me. It needs a pair of 27 x 1 1/8 tan wall tyres, which seem to be freely available in the US but not in the UK- although the rear wheel I bought for it did come with one.
After taking these pictures I realised how badly adjusted the mudguards were and fixed them.
Before the Super Galaxy I had this Raleigh Royal from 1985
Also bought from the original owner, he had really let it go in later years. It had been ridden in all weathers and neglected to the point where it was barely ridable. The above picture was taken on Shetland in the week when I made the decision to give up on it and buy the Super Galaxy- a decision I have not regretted. I gave the Royal to my son to get it out of the way, though that backfired when he moved back home.

My new custom Jeff Lyon L'Avecaise 650B, with Honjo hammered fenders. Build is only about 80% done. Still waiting for a Jeff Lyon custom fillet brazed stem, that VO stem and cable hanger is just a place holder. But 95% of my build time goes into the fenders and lighting. It only takes 5% of the total build time for all the components.
