A little about myself
Hey! I'm Alex and I'm from Seattle. I became interested in cycling some 15 years ago when fixed gear conversions were all the rage. These days I ride casually a few times a month and I appreciate my gears. I've been a long time lurker on this message board and it really is an incredible wealth of information. In these times it's really great to see good mannered discourse over a shared love of bicycles. I'm a huge fan of the "Are you looking for these!?" thread and looking at bikes for sale on Craigslist, OfferUp, and the Facebook Marketplace. Over the next year I would like to ride more, attempt more intermediate bike maintenance like overhauling a hub or headset, and maybe do an over night trip to Maury Island State Park.
