Headset installation

I just acquired a new frame (from Nashbar). To install a new headset, do I need to have my LBS reface the head tube and machine the fork (new from Rock Shox)? Thanks the your advice in advance.

I'd worry more about making sure that headtube is properly faced than the fork's crown seat, but if you are going to have a shop do the install just make sure they do both (and are capable of doing both). Some frames come properly faced, but I wouldn't expect a Nashbar frame to be prepped properly.

Nashbar frames do need to be properly faced IME.
