Bib Tights Advice Needed
Hey folks,
Just wondering what a good make of bib tights would be?
I am after egonomic fit, not neccesarillly Roubaix, with or without chamois or footloops, but must be smooth and shiny.

Perl Izumi is always a good bet - I haven't been disappointed with them yet. They have a full line from $85.00 (no chamois, fleece lining) up to $135.00 (great chamois, fleece lining, great comfort).

I second the Performance tri flex, they are great for wide rage of temps and degrees of wetness.
I don't have Tri flex bibs but wear bib shorts under the tights, which offers more flexiblity with layering and also you can wear regular bib tights under them with regular shorts when it gets real cold.

I really like the Gore Bike-Wear action bibs. They have an extra layer with windstopper on the fronts.
Thin absorbent lining inside. No padding.

I user mainky Pearl Izumi and LG. I haver a few pairs that have a pad insie and a pair that is unpadded and i wear padded shorts under them. All work well, but I prefer my favorite padded shorts with unpadded bib tights over them as my top choice.

I have two different PI Escape AmFib bibs: one with ankle zippers and one without, both have the pad. I like them well enough, but I should’ve gone up to at least an XL for my 36” inseam.
My bike fits me well enough that the pad is mostly for strategic heat retention.
I also have a pair of Craft over-pants which are fleece lined and add another 30F of protection on whatever I put them over.

I have two pair of Castelli bib tights and they are both great. They fit really nicely, great chamois, look good and good flexibility over a range of temperatures.
Tuto Nano and Sorpasso 2. The Tuto Nano I have in a size L but the Sorpasso 2 fit much tighter and I need an XL. Of the two the Sorpasso 2 overall fit better, but the bib straps are tighter. I've worn them between about 45 degrees F to a bit over 70. I might be a touch warm on the higher side of that range, but I plan for the chilliest parts of the ride.
