Is Steel Real? see the proof :)

Is this bike a real steel?

Please, disregard the car, it is a part of the image.

That's stupid. It doesn't have braze-ons for water bottle holders.

With Kaul Fix attachments, its possible to mount a water bottle cage to a bike lacking in any water bottle mounts.

Doesn't matter. That's Chuck Norris's bike.

I don't think you will need to lock that bike.

I think that bikes prior life was spent in a bridge deck on some major highway.

#7 rebar?! Man that's gotta be heavy. You gotta be careful about welding rebar too, it's not like A36.

Those are flat-proof tires, they're filled with concrete.

That bike just cries out for a pair of Hed Stalingrads.
It might be a little slow on the climbs, but *nobody* could keep up with you on the descents!

And I thought gas pipe cruisers were the heaviest bikes made. That one must be close to 80+ pounds or so Let it rust as that might decrease the weight

Rust = improved aesthetics for rebar bikes.

I bet it flexes like a wet noodle. Rebar is not very stiff. With this person's obvious welding skills he/she could have done much better making a truss structure. Still, an admirable case of "necessity being the mother of inventiveness".

BTW, when you travel around Russia and the former soviet lands, you see amazing feats like this. These people obviously have the technical goods, it's a shame they can't put it to better use creating consumer products the rest of the world wants (besides AK's and Sukhois). Travelling around the Urals near Ekaterinburg you see incredible off-road vehicles made out of rusting Lada Nivas.

Wow... You'd have to check your shot records to make sure you had your Tetanus shot prior to riding it.
